Go with a custom grind cam, or any cam that requires a aftermarket set of valve springs

Agreed either go custom grind or with comp cams 127550. SPR blower cams if you are looking for aggressive And the most power

If you don't need to replace the valve springs then its not aggressive enough. And i concur with custom grind cams. They are usually the same price as shelf cams anyway.

By the way the spr cams require you not only to replace the springs but the retainers and also run limiters or lock out your vct depending on how far you want to go. You will get the most out of those cams and you may want to stay clear of the 127650's as they will be too radical

Damn that's sucks and seems odd. I'm not blaming anyone but if you had it dyno tuned a week prior, the car should have been running perfect. Have you talked to your tuner about it? What were the mods on the engine when it gave out? Best of luck to you though getting her fixed. How many miles on it?

Yeah my mechanic was thinking the tuner might of been a lil too agreesive on the timing or something the car has Jba long tubes jba offroad h pipe pypes bomb axle back frrp manifold Frpp cams jlt series 3 cai 3.73 gears pretty much full bolt ons and I had just put 100 shot nitrous outlet plate kit when the motor blew it was on the all motor tune even after I got it tuned I hadn't sprayed the car but the car was shifting at 7k I read that the cams I had could only hold up to 6800 on the stock valvetarain in which I didn't replace anything just dropped em in so idk man the car had just hot 64k miles haven't talked to the tuner yet

Do you have a oil pressure gauge?
If so what did it do when it happened?

Check the dip stick what does it look like?

I'm not sure what the gauge is on the odometer it's a 2010 I think it's oil pressure but I wasn't looking as soon as I got off the hwy it just bogged and gave out idk how else to say it kuz that's what it did I think my mechanic has checked the dip stick I haven't had time to go see what's going on since I go to college
