Ticking

Has anyone else had a ticking sound when ac is on?

It's probably the controller located in the dash behind the radio. It's a little box, actually there are 2 or 3. They start clicking because the switch it motor in them screws up. They direct the air from upper to lower.

Ticking

Like ticking from the engine bay? If so, then yeah that's a normal sound associated with car air conditioning.

Yea it the sound is coming from the engune bay I read a few people had a similar problem, ford change there idle pulley and belt tensor and it went away

Cool, glad you figured it out. I was talking about a sound from behind the radio inside the dash.
