Turbo vs 5.0

Is there anyone whos turboed here? How much did your insurance go up? I was looking at a 2014 5.0 but thought that going turbo might be a little cheaper. Anyone know how much the difference would be?

If you don't plan on building the motor, your best bet would be get the coyote.

Get a 2011 Base model GT and put a 400 shot on it on your stock motor. 😉

Wondering why insurance would go up if you put a turbo on a 3V... Only if you told them honestly and even then.

Having had a 4.6L... I would never go back to one unless it was one that was a clean cheap 05-10 S197 with the intention of swapping in something better. If you can swing it, just get the Coyote. Or a GT500...
