Off-road H pipe

So, I just got back my car with my new exhaust... I'm pretty sure I have woke the dead with it. I have a set of muffler deletes and now the off-road pipe. It is extremely loud, and am afraid of being pulled over now, as I live in Virginia, they tend to be very particular about this type of stuff. So my question is, what good muffler set up, on a budget, would be beneficial to my predicament? I know this has been beaten to death, but I really would like some input on this.

I did look into those, I was also reading about the SVE axle-back, which supposedly is similar to the stinger/ford racing sport. I have MBRP muffler deletes now, which seem to be good quality so I may look at their muffler lineup

The only reason I'm not getting them is because the tips are only 3.5

I'll take a look at spintech. I just put my stock mufflers back on to tame the noise for now, and am not a fan of the tin can sound.

Anybody have any experience with the SVE axle backs? I only found a few clips online with those and an O/R X and it sounds good, but I wonder how different they would be with what I have? Anybody?

I only met one person with the sve axle back. He had an x pipe. My impressions was it sounded like my stingers but a little more raw and a little less "premium" sounding.

I have since switched to magnaflows because the cold startup with the stingers was too loud for my current living situation but as soon as I'm out of college I'll be putting the stingers back on. I think the stingers are probably the best route for the 3v 4.6s.

The sve is close, but for ~100$ more Id personally just go with the stingers so I don't regret it down the road. Plus the 4 inch tips do make a pretty good difference imo.

I agree, I just said screw it, and pulled the trigger on the stingers. Let the loudness begin! I just hope its not as loud as when I straight piped my car lol

On American muscle they are 470$. You can find them for about that price other places as well.

On the topic of how loud are they I know why you are asking. They will be perfect for what you are wanting. They muffle much better than your outlaws do.

You're probably wanting to know if you can run these with the long tubes you're looking at and a off-road/catted mid pipe. I would defiantly do it. They aren't mind splitting loud but they demand attention if you know what I mean

Those mbrp mufflers are the only mufflers I don't have any real life experience with.

On what scarce YouTube videos I was able to find they sound pretty nice. Might be one of the few (only?) in your area with them.

There are a couple more too. All the cars I see are bone stock, only one 3v has what looks like violators on them. Have yet to see the thing move from its parking spot.

If you go with cats vs off road you won't have the "ticking" sound that you can kinda hear in this video. But this is the best one I could find. I really think you should get the stingers Nate

Wow.. Those actually sound really mean not to mention they might actually be deeper than the stingers.. If I had those on my car I wouldn't regret that one bit.

I apologize for not replying or being a part of this conversation lol. I am expecting my newly purchased stingers by tomorrow (FedEx). I found a really good deal on amazon. Not sure who the seller was. $450.55 was the total. However, I wasn't sure who the seller was, so I had Jegs price match it, since american muscle was out of stock and I was impatient, they had theirs for like $30-$40 more. So all in all, I got the stingers for $450.55 PLUS free shipping and handling.

Funny. I run h-pipe and flow master out laws

Mine is insane. Car alarm set off insane.

Got pulled over at 2am and I wasn't even in the gas. Cop gave me some crap and I told him 99% of stang owners upgrade exhaust. He said "yea my stang has loud exhaust too" and we laughed.

That has to be close to straight piped with outlaws. The cop seems cool. Its funny that a lot of police officers that own mustangs have illegal setups lol.

I would consider it straight piped because outlaws are basically a large resonated tube.

My white car has 6 cats stock so I put aggressive mufflers on there, Spintech 9000 Series.
When the new system goes on this holiday season, it will sound mean, growl loud, hope it sounds 1/2 as good as this one. I'm using stock headers, downpipe with hi-flow cats, Prochamber, and the Spintechs, with 4 new CO2 sensors, extension wires and MIL eliminators until tuned... We shall see.

That is quite a system lol, let us know how it goes! There's always room for improvement for exhausts.
