Gas Gauge Not Working

Since I bought my car a year ago my gas gauge hasn't moved, it just sits below E. However, the display still accurately shows how many miles I have until E. Is this a common issue? Does anyone know any way to fix this?

Most gauge issues turn out to be the stepper motor. Search it here or on YouTube.

Yeah it's gotta be the stepper motor if it still knows miles to E. Pretty easy fix if it's worth it to you.

Ok so I finally got new motors. And I've looked on YouTube to find a tutorial to replace them but all I can find it how to replace them on a Chevy. Have you guys replaced them before? If so did you have a guide? I have the gauge out, pulled apart, and needles off. I just don't know how to get the motors on and off.

Heres the one I used, this is part 1 which is removing the cluster and soldering, part two is resetting the needle. Take your time with it and should be easy.
