Crankcase vent

Anyone ever use them? I had them on both passenger and driver side but I took off the oil cap and the oil looks milky is this bad?

If the oil is milky you've got a problem. If you just have a milky build up in the cap it's usually caused by short trips when the engine isn't hot for a long period of time. If your in a damp cold climate with 2 breathers I guess you could be drawing in moist air causing it too.

Yea it's cold and foggy right now is that still bad?

Is the oil on the dipstick milky or just on the oil cap.

I'd put the stock pcv equipment back on if possible.

As for the milky yellow junk, no it's nothing to worry about but if you let it continue you will need to change the oil more often than normal.

If you check it after a little longer trip you'll probably find the cap clean.
In theory with the breathers your drawing more moist air into the crankcase. This can reduce the life of your oil but if you're doing regular oil changes I wouldn't worry about it.
