With a good argument and facts you often can. I have found that ppl who get what they WANT vs what is CORRECT spend twice as much money.

I'm sure people want to go faster. No one is going to spend the money to change out their gears with the idea "alright let's see how I can make my car slower". They want the gears to be faster. If you want to be faster you need to think of your entire set up and not just throw random parts at it. That's it

Will I need any supporting mods? I have springs, but that's the only suspension mod I've done. I'm guessing I may need LCA and UCA depending on how my car reacts? Again It's not so much speed that I'm after its just making my car more fun to drive. If I get gears are there any other mods that will make my mustang more fun? I've also done the CAI, tuner and axle back exhaust.

It's all about the Smiles Per Gallon

LCAs are a great mod to have, especially with how cheap they are and how easy they are to install.

With the exception of gears, tuner/cai, and tires you are really looking at big bucks for minimal gains.

You can do udp's, charge motion delete plates, and a throttle body but I wouldn't. It's time to start saving for boost, spray, or a coyote.

Don't fear the gear. At least not in most Mustangs lol. Be careful of cars with steep first gears. Or low 1st gears like the 2.66 1st in the Termi. Put slicks and a SRA in there and one might want to go up to 4.30s or higher.
