Must have tools for long tube header install

I think I am going to tackle this install myself as I am growing impatient. Just curious as to hear about what tools helped people out a lot when doing it themselves. And I know that the steering shaft, starter, and the dipstick tube have to be taken out. How high up should I jack the engine up? Or should I just go as high as I can?

Also can it be done with a set of ramps and jack stands or do I need two sets of jackstands?

The rear on ramps and front on jack stands.
A set of rachet Ratcheting open end wrenches will help tremendously

Just bought a tack welder specifically for this install. Had the whole car apart and was getting ready to put the new long tubes on when everything was stopped by 2 studs coming out of the block that will not come out and stripped! So now have to weld a nut to the stud to turn it out, hope you have much better luck man! Did/doing mine in the driveway on jackstands

On my 05 I didn't have to jack up the engine at all. Moved steering shaft and dipstick tube. Some bolts I could get from top the others from the bottom. I did use a lift at the time too.

I think the raising of the engine is from lack of a lift. Still just waiting on some time off and good weather
