Welding Converters?

Anybody have any idea whereabouts a weld job for some Pypes high flow cats would run me? I know it varies, but an estimate would be nice to go by. Right now I have an Pypes off-road H pipe that is stinking up the cabin, horrible drone, and is a little loud for a daily. Any input is appreciated. Also, if I decided to weld the whole exhaust (just the connections of the mid pipe to the over axle pipe, and the down pipe to h pipe), what would that about run me?

My exhaust shop will cut and weld on cats for ~100 dollars.

I would imagine the same for welding the connections up. I've heard that's the way to go with the pypes mid pipes.

I love the way off road pipes smell. I just have cats because it sounds a lot cleaner. Im surprised that bothers you :p

Im sure if you just fixed the exhaust leak, that would solve the noise problem, if not then u can get some good resonators put on.

Unless the parts are all rusty I would just buy a new catted H-pipe and sell the old one to recover some of the cost. Probably cheaper than buying cats and paying someone else to install them.

Its not that the smell bothers me (just a bit), its the fact that I truly want to clean up the sound and get back to legal standards. I don't want to fuss with putting the old catted pipe on, inspecting, and putting off-road pipe back on. I don't mind if it tones it down, would actually be doing me a favor, since my set of stingers seem to drone .

I got ya! when I went from a off road to catted mid pipe I had stingers on and let me tell you it sounds so much better. It's way smoother and refined. The off road pipes sound savage and mean. The volume was surprisingly (or maybe not, since the high flow cats are so small) not affected much.

... The 2000 rpm drone is still there though ain't nothin gonna fix that hahaha

Figures there's nothing that can be about the drone, but the cats should cut down on it. I'll probably pull the trigger on some cats in a few weeks. I'm actually looking forward to adding them solely based on me a) not having a cabin reek of gas and b) the sound. I've gone through this whole process so ***-backwards it ridiculous...
