I installed flowmaster 10s on my 2010 GT (same engine as your 09). They are so small you can mid muffler mount them without a hanger. (doing this gives you the 00-04 type sound)

They make the car sound like the 2v 4.6 aka 00-04. I LOVE them

Spent 300$ total with install. Mufflers were 70$ a pop at autozone

Hey Joe,

Congrats on the purchase, I'm sure you will love her!

In regards to the shifter, I would have to agree with the other replies in this thread and go with the Hurst Competition Plus Shifter. The hurst is a great all around shifter and you will not be disappointed. I have driven a few TR3650 cars running the Hurst and have no complaints!

In regards to the exhaust, it really all depends on what you are looking for as there are so many options! I installed a set of Borla Atak's on my girlfriends 2007 GT and I love the sound they provide with practically zero drone.

Were you looking for more of a deep, mild sound or a loud raspy sound?

Let me know and I can shoot over some more recommendations for you!

Hope this helps!

-Will

Can you post a pic of your mufflers under the car...when I had super 10s my muffler shop said he wouldn't be able fit the mid mounted

I had an 06 3V with MAC Longtubes, an H-pipe Flowmaster 10 series (so it's legal), and slp loudmouth ones with the exhaust ran all the way out the back. I am not cocky by any means, but I heard from multiple people, even people that build drag cars that it was the best sounding exhaust they had ever heard. It might have helped that it cammed super hard.
