05-06 vs 07-10 Mustang Gt

I have a 2005 Mustang Gt and am trying to figure out why the 2005 and 2006 models are .4 seconds faster in the quarter and .2 0-60. every site I read all gives about the same specs.

2005 Ford Mustang GT 5.100 13.500 (MT Jan '05) Road and Track

2007 Ford Mustang GT 5.300 13.900 Road and Track

2009 Ford Mustang GT 5.300 13.800 Road & Track

2010 Ford Mustang GT 5.300 13.800 Road&Track

any input would be appreciated.

Well there's a lot of different scenarios you have to consider.
Did all cars have the same gearing?
Did they have all the same options?
Were any of the cars California emissions?
Did the same person test all the cars?
Condition of the track during tests?
What time of day were the tests performed?

Check the weights, they may have changed a little.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say those #s are very inaccurate. The 09 and 10 was a big change body wise. The 2010 definitely put on some weight. Also, it has the most aggressive tune from the factory (inspired by the 08-09 Bullitt Mustangs) and the Coyote air intake system. I believe it also got a suspension retune, other little things, etc.

In brief - the 09 and 10 times should not be the exact same. Leading me to believe the other #s are probably off too.
