Aeromotive a1000 has plenty of bump for what you are trying to achieve. Supports up to 1000 hp so if you do want to increase the ponys you have the supply.

Have you considered a factory solution from Ford Racing? GT500 dual pump system. My car is just starting to run out of fuel at 585RWHP in an auto through cats with these pumps.

Not trying to argue here but if you would have gone with something like the aeromotive a1000 you wouldnt have a problem running out of fuel and its $50 less the the setup you got. Just the facts here

Not trying to argue either but I did not know that an Aeromotive A1000 was an in tank pump. Does it work in a non return style fuel system or is it designed for a return style fuel system with a pressure regulator? Are you using a A1000 in your S197?

Im not cause i dont have one the question was what fuel pump should be used to support 450 hp. Aeromotive is a reputable brand with quality parts.

I certainly agree that "Aeromotive is a reputable brand with quality parts". I am using their #12301 Fuel Filter and #13101 Injected Bypass Fuel Pressure Regulator in my return style fuel system build.

However, I am still recommending the GT500 dual pump system as the best solution to support 450 RWHP as it is a drop in plug and play solution that only requires wiring the second FPDM. With a return style fuel system supported by an Aeromotive pump there is a great deal of additional work to be done and pieces to buy.

The first picture shows the underhood fuel lines for my return style system and the second one shows the Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator.
