06 Suspension Woes

I recently replaced the worn shocks and struts with Steeda's. After doing so I noticed a knock on the pass front I had not heard before. Come to find out I had a very bad ball joint. Solution, replace both with new control arms from Late Model. Since it is my dd and I out a lot of miles on it I opted not to buy the Ford Racing control arms.

After completing the install today the hard thump I was hearing is gone. Only to be replaced by a lighter one that seems to come from both sides up front. I seem to only notice it at low speeds.

All that is left is the sway bar and links and the tie rod ends.

Has anyone had this issue? What was the solution?

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like that are really hard to pinpoint. I replaced strut mounts, struts, springs, ball joints, and bumpsteer (as far as the front suspension goes) with Steeda replacements and didn't hear any sounds for months.

When the cold weather crept in, I started hearing a popping sound up front as soon as I'd turn the wheel after a cold start. The cold weather has come and gone and still comes around sometimes, although the popping sounds I briefly heard haven't returned.

Not to mention I've only got 36K miles on my GT.

It's so frustrating. Replacing all that and still hearing the noise. Since it is warming up here I am hoping to take it out tomorrow and shake it down.

My GT has 90k on it.
