Fuel Issue

07 GT w/93 Octane Fuel.

Whenever I get gas, the gas pump usually pops/stops when my tank is about half full and when I try to squeeze the handle it keeps on doing it. Any reason why? I've got it checked out before at the dealership and they told me they have to drop the gas tank, seems to be BS. Thanks.

Fuel Issue

I thought the issue was fixed 07-09. My late 08 Never has this issue.

With my 05 I've found that taking the fuel pump handle and flipping it upside down or too the side fixes the issue.

Here is a picture of my 08's fuel fill port: Click image for larger version

The "hole" that you see in the right corner isn't present on my 05. I believe the hole helps relieve pressure.

Funny My 07 always did it and my 05 only has once. My 07 would fill no problem if the pump was only barely in the fill neck

Here's the tsb I was thinking of that made me think later mustangs were "cured" of this issue. That's obviously not the case since both your 2007s have this problem.

Very Interesting, to say the least.
