Mid-mounted Borla Stingers!!

So, I finally pulled the trigger on mid-mounting my stingers... Omg. I should have done this sooner! It sounds so similar to the 2V/4V motors of years past. I'm running a Pypes H pipe with their Hi-Flow cats, stock manifolds, roush cold air intake. To those who may be considering doing what I have done, do NOT hesitate. I'm curious though if I went back to an off road pipe how badass it would sound?

Mid-mounted Borla Stingers!!

It isn't hard to mid mount a lot of mufflers, just need a pipe bender and a coupe of sticks of exhaust pipe, and a welder...

Do it all the time, especially with flowmasters, you get a better tone with a few feet of pipe after the muffler...

Yes video PLEASE. I've been wanting to hear mid-mounted Stingers with cats for a long, long time. I've currently got an O/R H but may be going back to high-flows when I get LT headers.

Take a picture of where they were mounted too, if you don't mind. I had to do something funky to keep mine from rubbing on the gas tank so I'm curious as to how you got it done.

Here are some pics of where they are located. Sorry, they are not the best of pics, didn't get a chance to get one while they car was on the lift.

Thanks! They did a great job on it! Probably the cleanest welding/cutting job I've seen in quite some time.
