Has anyone used moleskin?

Has anyone used moleskin on the inner door trim to prevent the window tint from scratching? I see its a common problem with the 05-07s.

I have it on my pony. No problems with it. No scratches on my tint yet. Put it on last summer.

I haven't noticed any scratching on mine. Is it common on all years or are certain ones not an issue?

Anyone know if buying this moleskin is better than buying the new/improved window trim from the dealer? And can you put this moleskin on without taking apart the door? Thanks

From what I found either way the door panel has to be removed but not all the way to slide out the trim. The trim slides out and you can attach the moleskin. Or replace the trim. But from want I read around the Internet the moleskin is a lot softer than the factory trim. So I guess it come down to either pay 90 for new trim or 30 to attach moleskin.
