Different cams and intake manifold, possibly different heads. It's made more for low end torque. If up,ijust dropped a coyote from a truck into a mustang it would be sluggish

They don't recommend going over 550hp and 500trq at the wheels in a stock motor. So, if going over that forge the internals. As for a supercharger....I think a lot of it comes with looks as the roots and centrifugal chargers are about the same....check out a Pro-Charger system and the Whipple or a Kenne Bell super charger. Depending on options chosen they cost pretty much the same.

Anything close to 500 your a ticking time bomb 450 is the sweet spot for the 3v motor anything over 450 like I said is playing with fire. You go over 500 may god be with you lol

It's not the hp that is so,bad but the trq that will blow parts. And having a decent clutch setup.

It sounds to me like it's not possible to get over 500 H.P. with a 4.6 Motor. I'm starting to feel like selling this car & buying something that's already 650 +++ H.P.

You can get 800 hp out of a 3V but you are going to have to forge your internals and use some type of forced inductions. There was an article in the May issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords about a 3V with a Kenne Bell SC putting out 805 rwhp.

It just depends on how much money you want to spend.
