480rwhp 2007 procharged

I'm looking into a 2007 that has 480 to the wheels. It's pro charged and dose not have a boost gauge i'm wondering how much boost is running though that motor before i buy it. The dealer isn't sure on anything, i called the shop who tuned it and they said they'll get back to me tommrow. My question is 480 with a stock bottom end safe on the 05-10 mustangs?

Okay, i'm gonna have the dealer ship get it retuned to a safe 450 before I purchase it.

You can have it back to 450 but who know how long it was ran at 480, get some extended warranty if they offer it because you never know

Lots of extended warranties offered by dealers are garbage.

Car has 22xxx miles and a few owners. The last owner owned it for almost 3 years so i'm assuming he's the one that pro charged it, cars really clean inside and out. Has some supporting mods and intercooler setup

Definetly read up on the warranty company before buying

How many owners?

I think it's a little odd that a car with such few miles has had a few owners. Kind of makes you wonder... Doesn't it?

If the last owner really did own it for 3 years then it's probably fine but where did you get this information from? The dealer or a car fax or something. It all just sounds a little sketchy to me.

If you buy it, then awesome, just stay way from rip-off centers, aka dealerships.

And how much are they wanting for this car? I'm not liking the repossessed part, makes me wonder. What I meant with that many owners, how many of them drove the dog piss out of the car. And I agree with everyone else, lower the RWHP back to the safety zone.

I'm having them retune the car by mustang magic down to 450 unless i should go lower? before buying it. They're asking for 19,900

I'd maybe go a little lower just to be on the safe side. Maybe drive it for a few weeks and see how the car does. Then maybe go to 450. I'm sorry man I'm just very cautious when it comes to cars.

I'd request to have everything checked at your trusted go to auto repair place. Have a full inspection performed and make your decision based on what they find.
