Gas drain

Anyone know the easiest way to drain gas out of a 07 GT? Car will be sitting for a long time.

Lol so many possible answers here.

Drive it

Kidding. Well you could disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter, turn the key on and let the pump run it into a gas can. Or drop the tank all together.

You could always get one of those small siphon pumps and try to get as much out through the filler with a hose. Unfortunately that would only reach the left side. If you have the special lock ring socket, you could pull the sending unit and level sensor located under the back seat and drain it directly.

STA-BIL fuel stabilizer is supposed to be good for 12 months, if that would cover your down-time.

Driving it seems to be the easiest route.

Good luck!

In that case, your already going to have the fuel rail disconnected. Just hook up the battery and turn the key in to the on position. It will pump out the gas.

Stabil works for a long time...or you could get with a tuner and ask for a drain tune. Drain tune is used when converting to e85. But that won't help if you don't have a handheld tuner!
