Car is leaking horribly

So I wake up this morning to find my whole passenger side floor board soaked, and puddles in the front, my windows were up and my weatherstripping is fine, my car has seen at least 15 storms since I've owned it but this one last night was by far the worst. Idk where to even look, my seats were completely fine and everything so it's making me start to think the water came in from underneath, is that even a possibility. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks for reading

this applies to 2014 and earlier it may help you....look in the manual (or Google) to find the cabin air filter remove it and check the drain vents located at the bottom of where the filter goes. They have a tendency to get clogged. On the 14's it is under the front cowl passenger side just behind the battery.

Agreed. Mine were pretty clogged and nasty with leaves and debris.

There is also a rubber grommet located under the plastic cowl on the passenger side that rots out over time and then basically allows straight water to drain into your cabin. There is a thread where a guy in here replaced it.

I see where my filter is, it is also behind the battery but I'm not sure how to get down in there to clean below that and get whatever crap is in there out.

Thanks for the help guys I just picked up a new filter because mine was disgusting, I guess the guy who owned the car before me never changed it because I've only had the car for about 4k miles and it was completely disgustingly dirty, and I cleaned out the drain below it because it was filled with mud and dirt and all kinds of nasty crap so hopefully that fixes the problem!
