What to do

Im looking to put a supercharger or turbo on my 2007 GT. but before i do that id like to see what to up-grade engine wise so i dont blow the motor. any suggestions on what to up-grade would be very help full. and if you also have suggestions of either turbo or superchager that would be awesome as well.

Wouldn't hurt to start with the basics ..

Long tubes , Mid pipe , Catback
Some 373s if you plan to power add.. 410s would be more noticeable but may hurt in the long run with your plans.
A " Cold air intake " doesn't add HP/TQ
Wouldn't waste money on a throttle body as well..
I'd just say full exhaust , gears , suspension would be a good start for now, along with a sct handheld to get some custom tunes.. your going to need it down the road anyways.

On3 performance makes some affordable turbo kits.

If your looking to actually build the internals of the engine ..
Some good forged rods , pistons ( w/ valve reliefs ) good bearings ( king or clevite ) unsure if your engine comes with a forged crank..
Unsure if you want to raise the cp.. 8:1:1-8:5:1 is typical for boost applications.
Just have to find the correct CC size.

If you run a conservative amount of boost you will be okay. But if you plan to crank up the boost you will probably want to build the motor bottom end. That's where your going to have issues if you went boost crazy.

He shouldn't have any issues on the stock bottom end , pushing 5-8lb of boost. On a very safe tune.

how would the 410's hurt in the long run compare to the 375's

also what would you say the max i should go for boost with just the exhaust and tuner should be?

if i go internal and add stronger parts will that allow me to increase the amount of boost i can put out?

what do you mean by rebuilding the bottom end?

410s if you plan to stay NA
5-8psi on stock engine
Having a forged rotating assembly along with other parts will allow you to turn up the boost without having to worry about blowing your engine.

Pistons , rods , crank , good bearings , nice timing components, etc.
