Question TCI Ratchet Shifter

Following the instructions to install the TCI Ratchet Shifter on my 2007 GT. When I get ready to disconnect the cable from the stock shifter, what to I find... There's some kind of a electronic module in the way, and the connector for the cable doesn't look anything like the instructions. Anyone know what the module is on the drivers side of the auto tranny? I'm the kind of guy who wants to know what I'm getting into before I start tearing things apart.

I did my 06 too; no problems.
I wonder if there is something different with the 07?

Midway through 07 they had the 5r55something and 5r55s. Maybe that difference matters?
