Engine sound

Have my third mustang. Last one 99 GT. new one 05 GT. thought my engine had a lifter problem but could it just be the normal sound of a ford engine? Car runs fine and no codes but just curious on other peoples take on it.

Never noticed a ticking sound on mine. Then again it doesn't get out much.

I've had people tell me they don't think it's a bad sound and newer f150 to me have the same start sound and idle noise but it seems like it's louder some days and still bugs me.

Alot of these engines have lifter issues / cam phasers issues. I believe they have several tsb on the issues.
