Flow master outlaws?

I'm getting closer to modding my exhaust and am wondering if the flow master axle back outlaws are an alright choice. I'm being really picky about the sound because I've heard my car (other stangs of my year) with aftermarket exhaust that sound bad. I want a deeper old muscle car sound that carries through and is still noticeable going by in fifth gear but isn't crazy loud or sounds rattly. Please help.

Will you ever get long tubes and an off road midpipe?

Flow master outlaws?

Sounds like a truck with anything else changed. Stock couldn't tell you, haven't heard it in person. Really depends on personal tastes, opinions will vary.

Well I wanted catback at first, thinking axel back wouldn't change the sound enough but people say that higher grade mufflers do the trick. I honestly don't know what the off road pipe applies too on the exhaust system.

My system is completely stock but the mufflers, trust me, they alone will make a difference.

^ that has potential from what I've heard from owner reviews. One system I want to hear is Hushpowers on the 3V.

I considered them when I had to replace the outlaws but the price tag was just way too much.

Flow master outlaws?

Yea, I had them on my Impala before the current system (Super 44s). I liked them, but I felt like I needed a new system on the car. They were on there for about 3 years. It sounded good, and had an interesting sound to them. Not like the typical Flowmaster. Which it is a strait through muffler, no chambers. It's also stainless which is one reason why it's so high.

Flow master outlaws?

Well prices vary from distributor to distributor. I paid around $250 each. Which they're stainless steel, that's one reason they're a little high. I'm pretty sure you can only get them in stainless. I can contact my exhaust supplier and find out their price for you so you can have an idea on how much. I think they off them in different pipe inlet and outlet sizes. Just let me know.

Hushpowers by themselfs arent impressive but with an offroad midpipe its the perfect exhaust for somebody concerned with cops and wants a straight through sound without the added noise.

Flow master outlaws?

I bet they will have a nice sound to them. I loved mine, but it was time for a change. With an off road H pipe and the mufflers that would sound good.

Even with cats they are horrible on the 3v.
At least with cats they are decent on a 2v. Once you delete them they are hand in hand with the 3v.

I just installed Pypes Pype Bombs a couple weeks ago...LOVE THEM. Not obnoxious when trying to be quiet and really opens up when I step on it and doesn't have any rasp up in the high rpms

Cost $100 less than the outlaws and have a straight through design that has to help on getting more air out...

Just my 2 cents hope this helped!
