Opinions wanted on louvers

Alright I'm looking for opinions on this. I have both louvers (quarter window and rear window) painted and ready to be installed. I'm getting that second thought that you sometimes get with mods. As in, will I like this? Or is this too much? (Appearance wise) Now that I've come to the point in my build that the louvers are next in line, I'm second guessing. Should I just install the quarter window louvers, or the rear window, or both, or leave them off? I'm getting that thought that it might look a little much on the car. Some days I'm wanting both, others the quarter windows or rear window only.
So, let me hear what you have to say. They are both Roush louvers; failed to mention that earlier.
I don't need that "it's your car" stuff, just tell me what you'd do if you were in this situation. None of that sell it and get a 5.0 garbage, because that isn't happening.
- thanks.

Sell it and get a termi...

personally I would do the quarter Windows but leave the rear window alone.

Selling it and buying a 5.0 would be the smartest choice. Take the 427 off the pedestal.

And the 427 should have came with the quarter window covers, rivited on in the first place. They fit the car and look good on it for your body style so yes.

I figured someone would say that. A 2000 R would be more persuasive, Nate.

I said it isn't happening no matter how many times everyone says it. I bought what I wanted. It's not going anywhere.

All joking aside.
I am being serious about the louvers they look perfect on the car. Mine came rivited on from roush I'm really surprised yours didn't.

I would 110% put them on.

Opinions wanted on louvers

My car is VERY lightly optioned. I basically got the options that are, for the most part, standard on the cars. Like leather, shifter, white gauges, tool kit, and a few others. So, I'm installing all the options I wanted on the car. I bought it because it was a very good deal for a low mileage stock 427R. And about 9 grand less than what the others were going for at the time.
Carbon fiber overlay kit is on the way, and some other goodies.
I'll get a picture of the window sticker literally like 6 options is all it got.

I love the cue ball shifter knob. Plus the color combo is awesome. Second only to a grabber orange/black combo in my book.

Asking others about this when you already have the parts? Hmm. Sounds like someone needs attention. Put them on and quit whining. Or don't and quit whining. Or buy a 5.0 ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I guess quarter windows it is. I think it'll look good on the car. Now to find someone wanting a vista blue rear window louver. Or might just keep it. Maybe put it on later down the road. Who knows.

Hahahahahahahahaha ah no. If it was a regular GT then yes, I'd be up for it. But it would depend on how much the Voodoo will cost. You know get a coyote on steroids.

I see that happen a lot around here. But if I had a regular 3V I'd definitely consider one of the big boys as an engine swap.
Coyote or Voodoo, make them into N/A monsters!

I had the P. Jones Saleen rear window louvers and the street scene II side louvers. I over heard comments that it was too busy and I had to agree. So I removed the side louvers and replaced them with 3D carbon side scoops which match my hood scoop. Just my 2 c.

Just install them- Be unique

I think your car will look great with the side and back louvers installed.

Not everyone has them and when I do see a Mustang with both side and rear window louvers I love the look.
It reminds me of the 1969 days I miss so much.

Ronnie

So far so good. Slight issues with the bolts. They aren't cooperating at the moment.

That Mustang is going to be a standout everyplace you go.

I think it looks great and when you get it done we want to see all views with good photos and not some crappy cell phone dark pictures.
I love the color.
Ronnie

PS: Are you going to be driving it to the American Muscle show?

Louvers are on the car and look great. There's quite a few finger print smudges around them. So I'll get them cleaned up and then post up some pictures. Very pleased with the outcome.

Sorry Ronnie, I won't be able to make the show. If you go take lots of pictures so I can see all the nice mustangs there!
Thanks Scotty I'm very happy with the car. Just needs a few more Roush options.

They look great! Lots of people only install the side louvers. I like the back window louvers, too.

Is that red car an MG Midget?

I had the 1975 50-Year Anniversary Model Midget that I bought literally out of the back side of a barn (last century). I loved it when it ran. Fun car for fun times.

Thanks for sharing!! Your blue Mustang is very nice!!

Alright, I've got the hood struts on the car. There's one thing that I'm worried about. The struts are causing serious pressure on the hood. I'm hoping that it will subside. Being possibly that they just need to be broke in. Plus it raises the hood up very quickly. Hopefully it will mellow out a little.
Ok, got a picture in my neighbors driveway before it got put up.

Thank you. I like them both a lot. Unfortunately, I'm selling the MG, to buy another car. It's the car I drive the least so it's the one that has to go.

Something looks off about your car. Idk what it is. Maybe it's the tires I'm not 100% sure. Just looks a lot different from how mine did stock
