once your done "flaging" me and whatever else.

What do you want to know about data loging?
The basics
Most tuners will ask for a
Idle log
At least 3 full throttle pulls in 3rd or 4th
Some cruising logs
Those are the basics

Cool, that is what the forum is about. Not to question every single person and NOT grill them.. It's for information to expand our minds . I have seen tons a stuff online and YouTube about it. Guess it seems as easy as I thought..

It's not hard, just some people do not like the idea of having to make a a few full throttle pulls in 3rd or 4th on public roads.
All you need is a laptop and your handheld in the car with you.

With the x4 you don't even need the laptop anymore. You can just download the parameters you need to the tuner and log away

Really? That's pretty sweet!

Do you still have to do the WOT pulls?

I'd imagine you still have to do the pulls for the tuner to see how the car behaves

Yes you still have to do the pulls but you no longer have to go car to tuner to tuner to laptop lol. What a mess

I suggest that some of you curb your egos and personal comments when posting. This thread got very close to being shut down due to a few of you taking it off topic and using it to target one another.
Remember the rules; if you can't contribute kindly to a thread, simply move on. If you feel you must "challenge someone" move on.

Yeah, I've still got the X3 so I have to bring my laptop with me. Last time I datalogged SCT's software was so buggy. Had to force-quit the application each pull.

Finding a road, keeping the laptop from flying out the window, and trying to hit SCT's tiny "Finish Session" button or whatever on my laptop's trackpad while also controlling a vehicle was a pain in the *** haha.

Yeah honestly that is probably why most don't datalog. I would much prefer to have a second person. Too bad my second person would be my wife and she would probably slap me If I redlined lol

Not with the prego in the car. She would kick my ***. She is currently some sort of hybrid between a grizzly bear and a wolf.

I did mine on purpose. She got tired of me buying drag radials every couple of months. She said "the tires on it are good enough"
Well I gave her my response with the 300 hit on street tires at 80 on i10, after a Kick to the left then to the right and back to the left and a lot of smoke later. I got another set

Back when I was driving it regularly back and forth from our shop, a set of nt05r's would last me about 2 months. I sprayed all the time then. Used it like it was a blower or a turbo.

Now it sits in the garage 28 days out of a 30 day month lol

When the bottles were empty, my wife would go get them filled for me while I was at work.
She use to do the same for me with my 1lb bottle that was on my old bike.
4awhile I was spending probably $250 -300 a week on nitrous.

I was dumb with it back then.
I would spray getting on the highway, passing people on the highway, getting off the highway the usual
