I know, I love the interior too. Carbon fiber kit is on the list and should be here sometime before the year ends.

Last night I came across a Roush Mustang I'd never even heard of in the few years I've been in Mustang land. The 2010 Roush 540RH / Roush Hammer.

I don't know why but it really grabbed my attention and I wish I knew about it before I put so much into my 2010 GT haha.

^ that's the meanest 4.6 powered Roush made. 540hp 510lbs of torque. It has a stronger version of the P-51 engine. And the strongest variant of Roush's R series line up. But there's one in the R series that has much more potential than the 540RH.

Very good looking Roush. There's a lot of tasteful cosmetic mods I see. It definitely has some $ in that engine bay. Most are on my list for my car.
I see your car has the same issue mine does; I hate it.

thank you its a very good looking car i get a lot more compliments than i did with my z28 lol. Yes it is annoying issues but then i look back at the problems my camaro and every other camaro has and i am grateful (Tranny, another Tranny, and another, or and dont forget another tranny, then two rearends, then every piece of junk plastic gm makes. o and we cannot forget the 20 million trans mounts and 15 headlights every week lol

I guess someone broke the plate. They should both be Roush. And yes that's a Roush CAI, an no it isn't an option.

Those are damn good looking cars. For real. What is the normal going price for a lower mileage 427R anyway? Just asking to see how they stack up value wise vs the 07-09 GT500s. I'm kinda guessing they'll be around the same price but maybe not. The better deals in GT500 land right now are high $20k range for the first gen S197 variants with low miles and well taken care of.

Gt500s are worth a little more.

There is a mint 2007 GT500 2 hours from me in Staten Island, NY with all the high $$$ bolt ons garage kept and documented 550 to the wheels for $29k asking price. 32k original miles. That price does not include the sales tax obviously. If you paid $28,500 out the door with taxes and all then I'd say that's about right if the 427R is indeed worth a little less than the same year GT500s.

Paid 26,600 for mine November of 2013, with 27,XXX miles. During that time they were going for low to mid 30s. I don't think you did too bad. It's definitely in better shape than mine.

I paid 26 for mine 4 years ago with 10,000 miles on it.

28k with 22,000 miles in 2015 is high real dam high
You can walk out the door with a new base 5.0 for 28

You can also get a low mileage 2011/12 base for like $20k.

Ya the 5.0's are nice but there isnt 130 of them produced in 2007. Hopefully in 20 years it will be worth more than a base model car is my theory but with that said i can still see where you guys are coming from it is kinda high. The other side though is my truck was paid off and had a headgasket issue and they still gave me 12 for it

If you're planning on it being an investment... I dunno. Maybe. Going to have to basically never drive it if that is the case tho. I personally ascribe to the Carrol Shelby mindset.

Where are you getting 130 from?
Because your car isn't 1 of 130.

Says on the tag under the hood 7-130. Called the nearest dealer near me and they said there was only 130 427r's produced in 2007? Am i misunderstanding this? Thanks

Its only worth money if someone else is willing to pay for it. There wasn't anything really special about them besides the Roush name. The investment car for the 05-09 is the 08/09 GT500KR.

For the price you paid for that car you could have gotten a GT500 with not many more or the same miles. Like I said there is a 2007 with 32k miles documented 500+ to the wheels and good for 700 with a blower swap for sale near me for $29k.

07 is production year.
130 is what number your car is.
Total 427R in 07 1025. So you have number #130 out of 1025.
Serial number located in passenger door jam, is your cars production number in the entire Roush line up.
Never trust a dealership, just a bunch of liars taking advantage of people.

Not to impose on op's thread but I have a hyper series. There were 100 total between 4 colors. Mine is "launch it lemon". There was 25 of mine made. Mine is 1 of 25. If not because of only 25 but do u guys think because it's the first it would be worth something more? Didn't buy as investment just curious.
