Bigger builds

With the stock block on the 3v how much hp and tq can the block and rods take before it starts to get risky. If I were to do a build with a blower running on 10-12 psi with smaller pulleys and bigger injectors am I looking at having to put new rods and doing forged internals or what

450 at the tires is the "safe limit"

Haha sorry probably should of kinda read over what I said before posting it my main concern is just how much the block and everything can withstand.

There is a few people running in the 490-500 range out here on stock 3v's but I wouldn't go any more than that.

With a blower you think I should just do forged internals to play it on the safe side?

Depends on what your power goal is. If you are wanting over 500 then yes

So I think I kind realized there's no point in truly building my car up all that much because I will never be where I wanna be without spending easily just as much as an 11 5.0 would cost me, so I think I have a new plan in sight and it might be time to get rid of the 3v... Sad to say but I think it's best

You can get a beautiful short block from

Shrader Performance – modular Ford engine experts

And lay some serious boost to it or Nitrous.
On a stock motor I wouldn't go over 450 WHP! 10-12 PSI and you can kiss your stock motor goodbye.

If you have them do ALL the work you're looking at just under 8K.
