LSD LOK with 3.73 Gears Help!

Hey guys so my differential is going bad on my 06 GT. instead of going with oem parts I'm gonna take the opportunity to upgrade my rear end. I've decided with Ford Racing Limited Slip Differential and 3.73 gear ring and pinion.
Once I install them I'm gonna be using an X4 tuner from AM to adjust the shifting points since she is an automatic, sorry guys I'm married.
Is there anything else that needs to be done to keep the engine or the transmission from giving out as I have heard rumors from non ford specialists that the transmission and engine should be reinforced to handle the change.
I think I'll be fine with the tuner and a custom tune to adjust the shifting points but I would just like to make sure from people who have already done the modification to their cars Click image for larger version

LSD LOK with 3.73 Gears Help!

I am doing the same to my diff as I have a pinion seal leak. So I am having 3.73 gears installed and a tune. But I also was recommended to buy the ford racing trak-lok rebuild kit w carbon discs from AM to do while the diff is opened. I am still waiting for the mechanic to do mine as it's too big a job for me to do....Btw my is a manual...

Yeah that's he same one I'm getting the install is a little pricey. GTR Performance quoted me at $400 for the install if I took all the necessary parts.

My question is once it's all installed the only thing needed will be a tune to calibrate the speedometer and shift points right ? Nothing else needs to be done to the transmission or engine ?
