You are inflicted with the same disease as many of us on this forum, Alex... You are a horsepower addict.
It starts out innocent enough. A "friend" takes you for a ride in his car. Then you get your own. "I'll just get get a tuner", you say to yourself, "they're safe". The dealers, like AM, start sending emails advertising "performance specials". Soon you are trying "boost" and "laughing gas".
The power makes you feel good for a while, but you constantly need more and more to maintain the same level of "high". It begins to consume you. All of your waking hours are spent thinking of ways to get more power.

Lol.
You don't want to follow my lead... On my Mustang anyways. I have a relatively stock 2V!

Is your car an automatic or manual transmission?
What is your budget for mods?

Is there a 12 step process for HP addicts? Might be fun to try to write them......

To the OP........I don't think that your car is getting slower. Your butt dyno is just becoming used to the original power your car came with. There is no end to this proces, of course, as any power you add will simple recalibrate your butt dyno within about 1.000 miles.

$500/month? Why don't u just buy something faster and use that $500 toward a monthly payment?

I forgot to ask what your ultimate goals are for the car? Drag race? Road race? Kick all of your buddies assess?

And some of these other guys are much more familiar with your car, like Recon, who actually owns a 3V.

Not for nothing but shouldn't u b focused on college or some kind of career move? Why are u focused on getting a job right after highschool to pay for mods on your car?

Yes, it's new enough that my butt dyno is still in heaven..........but I've had 430+ HP cars before, and I know that there will come a time that the butt dyno will need more.

I think that you should keep the mods to a minimum if you aren't going to keep the car.
