charging system

So I am getting ft a check charging system warning message along with battery light. I replaced the alternator and serpentine belt and I tested the battery with a multi meter. Still getting getting the warning. I know this is a common thing because I see the searches for it but never a solution.

And why can't I see the search function on my tablet?

Not sure if it will be helpful but try disconnecting the battery for an hour. I assume you already did when changing the alternator but this might work to reset the system.

Plus take a wire brush to battery posts- and major connections. Around battery and alternator. Double check all components are plugged in correctly. Hope this helps

check voltage output 1st at battery: with engine running should be around 14 volts...then check same at alternator (be careful!)

Well with your engine running your battery shouldn't be an issue. If you had to boost your battery to start then you know there is an issue! <w/ battery. It's sounds like an alternator issue or loose/ faulty connections! Or a computer problem. Is it giving you a code/ engine light? Do you have a hand held tuner/ programmer?
