N2MB two step vs MSD?

I've had the msd for a few months. Easy to install, easy to use, works great as expected. But I would also like the no-lift shift capabilities of the N2MB racing setup. It has a two step and no lift shift program that seems to work great but looks awful to install. I don't think it runs connectors like msd does, it's all cut and splice.
