SCT

So SCT support is garbage every time I go to tech support it kicks me back to the main menu selection. My SCT 3 has a blue screen and I can't tune or return my car back to stock. Is there anyway I can use another SCT tuner on my car to tune it? I'm done wasting time getting a hold of SCT!

I had a problem a couple of years ago with my SCT X4 giving me error codes and not allowing me to tune my car.

I called SCT tech support had to wait a few minutes for a tech but once I had one he had me down load a piece of software that would allow him to remotely access my device via my laptop. He trouble shot the device installed a new version of firmware and stayed on the phone while I went out to the car to try it. He fixed it and it has been trouble free since. He even gave me his direct line in case I had any other issues.

I couldn't be happier with the support I got from SCT.

They helped me a couple years back when I needed to run the tuner off of my PC and it wouldn't connect. They remoted in and uploaded a device driver for me to install. Worked like a charm after. I'd suggest you try again. Maybe you hit them on a bad day, we all have them.

There are alot of people doing gear swaps that can't get the xcal to change the gears in the options menu right now. Speedos aren't accurate until sct can fix the issue.

Is that a universal problem for all X4s?

I have no problem with my X4 changing the revolutions per mile on my 15 Ecoboost. My winter tires are taller than my summer tires and I change the revolutions per mile when I swap tires. It will work for gear changes to, just figure out the circumference of the tire (will be in the specs at Tire Rack) and increase or decrease the number by the percentage change in your rear end gear ratio.
