Time for the diff service

First of all first time poster and a long time reader... I have a 08 gt/cs which I recently had inspected and my mechanic told me some dust or dirt got in a valve or something and it was leaking 90 weight oil. That being said when I have the diff service done whether it by me or my mechanic would it be a good time to install some different gears 3.31 to 3.73 perhaps? Thanks in advance guys!

I think the 3.55s are perfect.

I run at like 2200 at 80 with 3.31s so obviously 4.10 would be way drastic... 3.55 best of both worlds?

Ah I thought you were choosing between 3 31 and 3 71. I wouldn't spend the money going to 3 55 personally.

Found this in another forum for our cars.

.................................................3.55...... ........3.73...............4.10

RPM@80mph 5th gear.........2,434.75........2,558.20..........2,8 11.96

RPM@65mph 5th gear.........1,978.23........2,078.53..........2,2 84.7

Mines parked for the winter so I can't check right now but it seems about right. I went 3.31 to 4.10 (auto)
Some people say 4.10 are way too much but as you see at 80 mph the difference between 3.73 and 4.10 is about 250 rpm
250 rpm does not really effect gas milage or sound all that much, and it's a lot more fun off the light.

With turbo or supercharger it would be a different story.

The 3:73's will be fine for you. You should be able to notice a difference.

You can't go wrong with 373's

Do you already have a tuner? Your going to need one do correct the speedo and make your car shift right (assuming it's an auto if it has 331 now)
