3 hours a wheel

It took about 3 hours a wheel but I finally wet sanded and put a sealant on them. I still need to buff. I was hunched over the whole time. This is my daily driver so I couldn't take the wheels off and on. Here is a before and after pic.

Wheels look great -- lots of work, but worth it in the end......now, if only you could do the same for the brakes and hubs........

Just out of curiosity why wouldn't you just pull one wheel off at a time vs working on your knees for 3hrs per wheel?

Yep wheel looks good that was a lot of work and yes I agree may be a good ideal to take off the wheel and hit the hub and brake caliber also! That will make it look even better!

Thank you. Ya, I will buff them out tonight and snap a pic. I really should hit those calipers and break pads. I will do it my next warm off day. I didn't really have the space to house the rims. I have kids and I didn't want break dust and aluminum in the air. I unfortunately do not have a garage but seriously considering one. I have a 1 month old home so for his sake I kept it outside.

It was a little wet today so I tried wiping them as best i could while I was at work. I might hit them again this summer and run 600-2000 grit. It is ok I guess for the time being. A lot better then what I started off with. Haha.

Wow that is a hell of a good job man! Huge difference and totally worth the amount of time you invested into each wheel.

Night and day!!!
