Shifting points

So I have a quick question. I'm upgrading my rear gears along with a LSD and I was wondering if I needed to tune the car in order to adjust the shifting points on the transmission or will simply changing axle settings on the sct x4 do that?

I believe all you need is to load up a custom bama tune from your sct x4 device to correct shift points and speedometer.

But what I mean is do I need a custom tune from Bama in order to adjust the shifting points or will just changing the axle ratio on the tuner take care of that.

Why not just call and ask BAMA?
Why take a chance of getting an answer from someone that may know less than you do about it?

I wasn't going based on opinions. I was hoping someone would have experience with it already. Regardless, I was able to get in touch with BAMA and even though I purchased the SCT X4. Because you buy from AM, both come with the free tunes for life even though the x4 doesn't have it listed In the description. Thanks anyways guys

Yes get a new tune. Adjusting the gears on the tuner only corrects the speedometer and not the transmission shift speeds. Bama can make you a new tune, I drove mine home with an old tune and shifting was all messed up.
