Help With Gas Smell

I have an '07 GT/CS with 122k and recently when I start the car I get a smell inside of gas. It is also present when driving. There are no visible gas leaks as we had it on a lift to check the lines & filter. Also look all over the top of the motor. The only recent things that have been changed was the fuel filter and all 8 coils. With the smell when driving leads me to think it is from the engine bay but again no signs of liquid anywhere so what else could it be?

Thanks in advance for the help

You could pull the rear seat and remove the access covers for the fuel pump and fuel level sender and look for leaks on top of the tank.

you may need a sniffer to find it....did it start after filter + coil replacement? either filter or damage to lines/injectors would be my guess

Just a wild guess but I'd check out the charcoal canister & tank vent too.

I'd second the charcoal canister too, but if it was an issue, it wouldn't be present when driving.
