Best sound exhaust

Looking for good sound for my 08 GT. I don't want to do Pype bombs since I'll lose back pressure. I have an off road x pipe right now, with shorty headers. What have you guys done that sounds pretty good?

Best sound exhaust

Pype Bombs = hell no, sound terrible, not as bad with a stock set up.
I have Roush Extreme and FR500S. Both sound good. To me at least.

Adventure till you drop.

I had that setup as well. Sounded excellent I just didnt like the rasp around 2000 rpm. Seemed to get worse after the cams.

Raspy. Cats will help a little with the rasp though.

I plan to go with a catted x pipe and borla s type mufflers. Is the Ford Racing cut and clamp x pipe worth getting?

I highly recommend Borla Stingers. I've had 3 different exhausts so far. The first, Magnaflow Street, sounded good but was really quiet even with my Kooks longtubes and Kooks offroad H-Pipe. I switches to Bassani SS and it sounded so loud, rattly and just plain bad that I changed it as soon as I could. The noise and drone was unbearable and did not have a good tone anyway. I did alot of research and, in my opinion, the Borla Stingers provide the best sounding exhaust. I commute more than a hundred miles a day with the Stingers and offroad Kooks with longtubes and the drone is not bad. You can hear it but it's not disturbing and I can listed to podcasts and talk on the phone no problem (safely of course). I intend to post a video of the sound eventually but have a 2.5 year old so I've had a hard time getting away.

In any event, the Borla Stingers sound amazing. Great tone, little drone with no cats and not too loud as to be annoying from inside the car.
