Oil life meter

I have a 2010 mustang gt and just did my oil change. I attempted to reset the oil life meter and it reset to 80% when it usually goes to 100%. This is the first time it has done this. I used a new oil filter and added 6 quarts of oil like I always do. Any idea why it is showing only 80%? I attempted many times to reset it.

That's odd. Maybe disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then try again

Is it limiting oil life based on your driving style/condition, forcing a shorter interval?

You know that warm and fuzzy feeling? That means something bad is about to happen...

some type of computer glitch...remember to keep track of changes yourself in case it forgets to start counting. I've seen a couple of complaints where it will get stuck.
