18x9 Rovos??

I want to put these 18x9 Rovos Durbans on my S197. American Muscle website says it only fits on 99-04 but on Element Wheels website it says it fits on the S197? Is there a big difference or will it just make the car stance look goofy?

American Muscle has Rovos for the s197, just change your model selection to 05-09 Mustang on the top left of the screen where it says "change year." The 99-04 wheels have a different offset so make sure you don't buy those.

Yea I figured it was due to the offset.. bummer.. The only Rovos on American Muscle are 20s and I feel that is too big for the S197 body. The Rovos I saw were perfect for the price because the last thing I want are rims that cost 1/2 a much as my cars value lol. Oh well, the hunt continues!

I think that the wheel offset for 99-04 is 21mm and the offset for S197 is 45mm...or something like that.

I didn't notice that there were only 20" available. I agree that they're a bit big for the S197, but would probably look awesome anyway. That being said, they would also probably slow the car down from an 18".

Hmmm.. I pulled this from LMR website:

1999-2004 Mustang, GT & Cobra
15-18"
5"x114.3mm
1/2"x20mm
70.3
35-50mm (H)

-------------------------------

2005-2009 Mustang & Mustang GT
16-18"
5"x114.3mm
1/2"x20mm
70.3
35-50mm (H)

My best bet is talking with a specialist because I am all confused

Yeah, that is weird. I can't pretend to know what all of those numbers mean, or if the offset is even intended to be listed. Notice, though, that LMR sells wheels for 05-17 Mustangs separate from 94-04 wheels.

Eh.. to each their own. I think 20s look good on 2010+ Mustangs personally.
