Should I get a new air filter

My JLT air filter a little old but it still runs fine, should I change the filter either way because it has some wierd wavy lines now, look at pics

how easy is it to see light through when looking from the inside out? for the cost of it I probably would replace it either way.

For the sake of aesthetics yes! Lol
It looks like it?s been around a while. Air filter is something you want to replace before it fails. Whats the worse thing that can happen if you don?t replace it? Is that scenario worth the cost of a new filter?

As stated above if you can see light through it from the inside out I would keep it. Give it a good clean and re-oil it...

Yeah, as long as you aren?t seeing too much light from holes or stretched pleats/mesh.
