Maganflow magnapacks.

Today I installed my magnaflow magnapacks #15883. I got an awesome deal on ebay for these. Brand new for $307 shipped. The install took about an hour or so. They sound awesome They have a nice deep tone. They do drone alittle, but not as bad as I thought they would. My flow 40 series droned more.

I bet your stang sounds awesome. O/R X and magnpacks. That is a good combo. Since I live in CA, no O/R X or H for me.

Re: Maganflow magnapacks.

CA has very tough laws when it comes to modifying a car. getting a high flow cat may pass a visual, but may also fail "the sniffer" part of the smog test. some muffler shops out here will not install off road parts due to they may receive a fine from the city or county. we even have laws about how loud your exhaust can be, no more then 95db.

Re: Maganflow magnapacks.

That sucks. I would figure a good high flow cat would let you pass the sniffer.

Re: Maganflow magnapacks.

I believe the magnapacks are getting a little loader. Yesterday I set off a car/truck alarm in the parking garage. The truck was parked in the row behind me. At startup, I could hear it chirp and when I backed up, the alarm went off.

That's half the fun of it. If I can find some test pipes I'm gonna pull my high flows out.

I like em. Nice deep sound while keeping the volume under control. They aren't quiet by no means, just not obnoxious.
