Stock block and supercharger pully ???

He guys , I was just woundering what the limits of my 3v are.Currentlly the car makes 445hp and 400ft/t to the ground,i am not sure about flywheel HP but i would guess around 490-500hp?My question is how much more power will it safely handle?I still plan on heads , cam and a methonal kit , plus i want to run a little more boost.
my other ??? is do you know the size of the stock pully on the HO kit?and to increase boost you would go smaller cause it will spin faster???
thanks again

Those are some DAM impresive numbers man! your probebly maken about 500 hrs. from what i heard if you go forward from this point on youll have to get ported heads, new rockers, ect. ect. its basically time to make your engine strong enough to hold all the new pressure you want to put on it.

although, im not positive, but i think you could safely go to stage 2 cams from comp cams and not worry about it. you should gain another 25 hrs from that.

You are at the limits of a stock block. I wouldnt push it any harder if you want to keep the motor alive for awhile. I would do a built bottom end before i did the built top end.

Re: Stock block and supercharger pully ???

You can get further than you are now, but like Benjy said, you are at the safe limits now. Locally, a shop was able to run 515 rwhp/tq out of their 05 GT on stock bottom end with a saleen SC @ 15psi I believe. The car ran strong and never blew up. They were trying to blow it up and see how much it would take, but it would not blow. The reason I'm sure was in the tune. The car spent a lot of time getting the tune very dialed in.

Today, the motor is dead finally....3 years after they cranked up the boost.

Like Benjy said, I would definitely build your bottom end before you go any higher. Or, go higher, but it will be a crap shoot as to whether your car survives. One bad tank of gas and it will pop.
