Are pullies worth it?

I was looking at a couple different under drive pulleys and I was wondering are they worth the price? Will i notice the gain by the seat of my pants, do i need to retune?? Also how hard are they to install, and can I run them with my Shaker 1000 (I am a bassaholic).

Re: Are pullies worth it?

their worth between 15 to 15 hp in my book thats not bad for the price. Will you feel 10 to 15hp? not really but it is their. As long as you have a good battery it's not gonna mess with your radio unless you idle for a long time and are pulling a lot of amps.

Re: Are pullies worth it?

yea, it seems 10 hp is about what you get from 25% underdrive pullies~ you wont really feel it but every little bit helps.

you wont feel just the pulley, but add a few other little mods and you will.

Re: Are pullies worth it?

I don't know for sure but it might help a V6 car even more than a GT

Re: Are pullies worth it?

ya it's my chiuawaa named "Pedro" we found him walking the street one night and he has been with us ever since. I hated chiuawaas untill I had him. He is the coolest dog I ever owned. He loves everybody, he doesn't growl, or shake, or any of the other crap that they normally do. he's like a little pot head all he does is chill and is down for what ever.

Re: Are pullies worth it?

Think about it 15hp is only a 5% increase in power. Yeah, it will be there and it will definitely help in a close race but you won't feel the difference too easily

Re: Are pullies worth it?

15 hp is 15 hp the only time its not worth it is if your running a supercharger then it would underdrive the sc as well and thats not good
