Re: need exhaust info

you will probably have to raise the motor up depending on how the k member is setup~

Re: need exhaust info

you are going to have to jack up the engine to access some of the bolts. The prochamber is much better than an x-pipe. You will get more bang for you buck performance wise with gears. What I'm saying is the seat of the pants dyno will feel the gears more than the headers. You will get 10-20 more hp. from the headers. and the sound you will get from the headers is awesome. so it's just what you want more.

Re: need exhaust info

so your saying i will feel more power with 3.73 than headers? i have never put gears in before. i dont want to pay anyone to do it they want around 900 for gears and installed. thats stang hi and zimmer gears estimates. i def dont want to do that. i got an estimate worked up with all the parts i just got to install them. long tube headers,x-pipe(maybe go with pro chamber),borla mufflers, gears, master kit, and fluid. $1,466.02. im gonna be getting all that in the next couple weeks

Re: need exhaust info

I got my gears and install kit from Brenspeed. Doing a gear swap isn't hard you just have to know what your doing.

Re: need exhaust info

im probably wrong but i am guessin 320-350. gears dont add hp, they affect acceleration and speed. higher the ratio fast off the line but slower top speed. mpg gets affected at some point as well.

That's not necessarily true. The higher ratio, the lower the theoretical top speed. But a lower theoretical top speed does not mean a lower actual top speed in the real world. In fact, the gears may allow your actual top speed to be reached in 5th instead of 4th and could actually go up.
