Summit Racing springs?

has anyone ever used Summing Racing brand lowering springs? I'm just a cheep bastard, and like to save money. I've used a lot of jegs and summit brand products with good results. and for the price I'd like to get them.

Re: Summit Racing springs?

Buddy of mine has them on a Honda. He loves them. Never had any problems with them.

Re: Summit Racing springs?

I have those exact springs on my car. They are really just a generic brand sold through vendors such as stangsuspension.com, Summit, etc. I got mine from Performance Driven LLC for $75 to my door. And yes i Love them the spring rates are 200 rear 240 front, they handle well and it looks nice. I had just the rear springs on for a while and it leveled it beautifully, but just recently i put the fronts in with the gt500 strut mounts, and it is like night and day compared to stock. I have seen no ride quality difference either.

eibach pro kit on your 06 will work great, my friend has it very nice drop overall, and the price is not that bad. You dont even need a damn spring compressor to do the job (well you may to get the stock ones off depending on how you do it

I installed my springs (the same ones as the summit) in my driveway one day after class with a jack and a ratchet set. It took me an hour for the rear, and 3 for the fronts. The S197s are a breeze to change springs, no compressors needed.
