Thumbs up The new Supercharger by Edlebrock...UPDATE

I don't know if anyone has heard of this but for you 05 and new guys it might be something you wanna look into if you have an extra 6g's layign around it can be your's.... here's the details:

The E-Force Supercharger system of the 05+ GT mustangs features a 2300cc eaton twin vortices series (TVS) gen VI rotor assembly, the same internals used on the new corvette ZR1. Paried with a the 15 inch runners on the new intake and the huge 110 square inch air to water intercooler, Edlebrocks testing showed an impressive 466hp and 439tq with only 5 lbs of boost, which the company asserts is more power per psi than any other mustang supercharger system. Plus, the intergrated bypass valve helps reduce parasitic loss under light throttle to improve mileage potential. This complete kit has everyhing necessary for installation, including a manifold assembly, an air inlet with 85mm TB, Fuel injectors, an air to water intercooler, spark plugs coil cover and a handheld flash programmer to properly tune the factory ECU for the added power. Edlebrock offer an avaliable 3 year/36,000 mile warrant and 50 state legality is pending.

Price: $5,995.00

I just spoke to CR at Tillman Speed. The car is back together but the frigging Dyno brocke on the first or second run. Now the &^&% thing won't be done until tomorrow....
He said the car sounded like a beast when he had it running but no HP numbers yet............................

Re: The new Supercharger by Edlebrock...UPDATE

Well I'm back, got released from the hospital yesterday. Called Tillman, they are still fighting the dyno numbers. Right now she's only making 400rwhp @7psi
I told the that i will not accept the car with less than 450+ at 7psi. Tillman and Edelbrock are working on the problem, good thing I am not allowed to drive until next week.
Anyway here are some links to videos of my car
(Videos by Tillman Speed)

Car sounds like a beast, all it needs now is the muscle to back it up................

Thanks, I not firing on cylinders yet, but the spark curve is slowly improving.

Anywho, yea I got a good deal on it that's why I did it, being the test mule sometimes means you may have to wait a little longer to get things straightned out, it's just frustrating as hell.....................

Re: The new Supercharger by Edlebrock...UPDATE

I think it's pretty good. but the stock pulley really puts out about 9.5 psi at max rpm and not 6 psi that it's rated. I would like to see the IAT temps. but like I said, it's not bad for a 2.3L s/c

I don't know enough about the edelbrock to comment, but out of your list, I would go for the whipple....

And jimmy, the kb's are just weird. I've just read a lot of horror stories of blowing oil out, not making the proper boost, locking up, etc. They scare me.

And jimmy, the kb's are just weird. I've just read a lot of horror stories of blowing oil out, not making the proper boost, locking up, etc. They scare me.
actually cause everything youve shown me regarding kenny bells i saved a guy from making that mistake, he went with a wipple instead. he felt theres not enough known about the edlbrock yet. so you have saved one person from a nightmare lol
