Re: Mustang Fastback??

Lol that's what I thought. Is it worth spendin that or should I just settle for a coupe? I really like the fastbacks and considering how young I am I will have plenty of time to slowly restore it.

Re: Mustang Fastback??

It's supply vs. demand fastbacks are great looking Stangs. The Elenore craze put the 67-68 fastbacks out of reach for most people. Keep looking you have all the time in the world. I'd wait and buy something you really want not something your settling on.

Re: Mustang Fastback??

DTCM all I see on that site are restored stangs. I want a stang that has no rust and needs a full restoration.

Re: Mustang Fastback??

Go to eBay motors and do a search on that vehicle. you can read descriptions and look at photos until you see one that is close to what you are thinking. and see what they are going for. Its hard to put a book value on a muscle/mopar/classic.... how the resto was done and how much interest in that particular car can play a lot in to determining a price tag.

If you have a eBay account you can do an advanced search and find ones that have ended and see what there price was.
Hope this will help you..........

Re: Mustang Fastback??

I would advise you take someone that knows body work and what to look for else you may come home with a 6000 dollar piece of art as thing scan be elusive to see on some of those cars and where rust is normally found etc etc.

and it goes without saying, if the deal sounds to good to be true... it is lol
