'65 Heater controls - Mustang Evolution

'65 Heater controls

Anyone know how the heater controls work on the '65?


Here's a pic of them



This is laying on its side. there are three verticle sliders and one horizontal. the horizontal (on the right in the picture) is the fan speed. The right says 'def' and the middle says heat.

Not sure what the left one does

my heater didn't work, so i never messed with the switch. Maybe temp? or would fan speed control that?

the left vertical lever "turns on" the heater. Down is on, up is off. The center lever is temp control, down is hot, up is cool and for the far right lever, down is defrost, up sends the air to the floor
