What should I look for when buying a 67 stang

Im seriously considering buying a 1967 v8 mustang fastback. Is there anything I should know before buying a classic mustang like this? All I really want it for is for Driving, maybe beef it up with a little more power. Are there any problems that I may have not heard of about the 67 mustang that I should look out for?

Thanks

look at the body and floor pans for rust or repair and see if its been wrecked and if so try to judge how badly if you can get it in a a lift or jacks and check the bearings in the front by shaking the tires.Look for oil leaks, transmission leaks, radiator leaks, hose leaks and rear end leaks if you can check the condition of all the fluids and look under the dash for signs of bad wiring or jury rigged wires.Give it a drive and see how it rides and stops dont forget the check the tires ofr cupping or feathering.

Check the fenders and 1/4 panels behind the tires for rust. Also check the lower doors for rust.

Also check the cowl vent area, passenger side just above the heater/ A/C box, this is usually a good spot for corrosion.
